Objectivies and Approach

The aim of this project is to apply advanced design tools to new hardware and software product development in the areas of telecommunications and multimedia. The partners are interested in extending the current speech dominated telecommunications market to multimedia systems which integrate audio, video and text. The project will evolve in three phases, involving a feasibility study, a programme development phase to specify a product for development, and a demonstration phase in which the product prototype will be designed.
