Objectivies and Approach

The project brings advanced high performance and acoustic software of EU to China. The aim is to develop parallel software for the numerical simulation of aero-acoustic sources. The workplan includes models of aero-acoustic sources and testing verification.

Progress and Results

The European RAYON software has been installed and tested in TAAL. The development of a parallel CFD based aero-acoustic source code is in progress.

Information Dissemination Activities and/or Exploitation

The parallel algorithms for the numerical simulation of internal aero-acoustic sources developed by the project will be combined with the acoustic software RAYON of Straco and will expand the function of the software.
