Objectivies and Approach

The objective of the project is the development of tools and techniques involving geographic information systems using object oriented databases. The project involves both practical and theoretical research and development of prototypes. At the moment, five researchers and seven students are working on it.

Progress and Results

The project schedule is being followed according to the original plan, with development of one prototypical tool and publication of several papers. Main results include one paper in a refereed journal, six papers in refereed international conferences, three papers in refereed Brazilian CS conferences and six MSc theses.
