European links: ESPRIT projects CIMPLE (5424) and COMPASS (6617) and the UK DTI project CIM2000 have produced results which can be utilised in PROMISE.

Progress and Results

Technology transfer between the Western and Central European partners has been extensive. CIM modules for demonstration and implementation have been localised. The establishment of links to best practice has been successful in the CAD/CAM area.

Information Dissemination Activities and/or Exploitation

Dissemination of results has been achieved by links to Technical Universities and by exhibiting at the major IT Exhibition INVEX in Brno, in October 1995. More links will be established with organisations which can subsequently market the results of the work in Eastern/Central Europe.
